Broadford State Motorcycle Sports Complex Road Race Code of Conduct
- Motorcycle helmets must be worn at all times when operating a motorcycle. First offence will result in a warning, a second offence will result in expulsion from the Complex.
- The site speed limit is 40kph. First offence will result in a warning, a second offence will result in expulsion from the Complex.
- The Pit speed limit is walking pace only.
- The direction of travel within the pit area must be observed as per road markings.
- No engine start up prior to 9.00am (noise curfew 6.00pm – 9.00am).
- No vehicle access to pits from 9.00am until the conclusion of event/ride day.
- All tyre warmers and electrical appliances to be tested and tagged.
- All used tyres to be removed by the owner of the tyres and not left on the premises.
- Oil disposal is to be in the designated location only (no containers/filters).
- Observe No Smoking and No Camping signs.
- Camping fees are due and payable on the day of camping at the Canteen location or to SMSC Staff.
- Power is provided for tyre warmers only in the pit sheds and rear of pit shed C (power is not to be utilised for camping or other electrical devices).
- Strictly no camping in Pit Sheds, Medical Room or Media Room.
- Amenities in Race Control Tower are for Officials and Marshals only (no spectators).
- Pedestrians to remain within the designated areas at all times.
